Redressing Fundamental Rights Violations by the EU

On Friday 24 May, three members of our Governance Board — Ljupcho GROZDANOVSKI, Jérôme DE COOMAN and Benjamin JAN — went to Catolica Global School of Law (Lisbon, Portugal) to discuss fundamental rights violation in the context of artificial intelligence. This discussion was part of the book launch: Melanie Fink (ed.), Redressing Fundamenta Rights Violations by the EU: The promise of the 'Complete System of Remedies' (Cambridge: Cambridge University Press, 2024).
Alongside Simona Demkova, Vanessa Franssen and Giulia Gentile, they discuss technology as an opportunity to refocus (digital) fairness on protecting the individual.
