The discourse on AI and students' use of ChatGPT

The Jean Monnet Centre of Excellencxe JUST-AI was pleased to welcome Bilel Benbvouzid to the University of Liège last week.

As part of Christophe Dubois’s Digital Sociology course, he delivered a lecture presenting his “critique of the critiques” of artificial intelligence, inviting students to engage critically with prevailing narratives and to reflect on the broader societal implications of AI.

The following day, he presented his ongoing research to our collegues, focusing on students’ uses of generative AI and the pedagogical challenges thereof.
